Turkey hunting is quite the challenge, as the Wild Turkey is one of the most intelligent and aware animals that nature has to offer. The slightest movement or unusual noise will run these skittish birds off in a heartbeat. To reserve your hunt a 50% non-refundable deposit is required.
A Georgia Hunting License is required to hunt at the Preserve. The DNR now requires preserve licenses to be obtained directly by the hunter. Fieldstone will not have permits available. To obtain your preserve license, contact the DNR directly at 1-800-366-2661, or visit http://georgiawildlife.com/licenses-permits-passes. You will need to present your license for verification before the hunt.

Turkey Hunts
What to expect
Depending on turkey movement leading up to the day of the hunt, hunters can choose one of three strategies. Sit in one of our high-tech ground blinds that are placed near turkey hotspots around the property, go to a place of your choosing to sit against a tree or brush pile, or run-and-gun with a member of our team by following the sound of turkey vocalizations. Minimalizing sound and movement are a huge key. If a gobbler is downed, an ATV or truck will make its way to the area to retrieve the carcass.
